Rezlife Church is
situated on the precincts of Lubowa hill, and Kyeyagalile zone, Zana town, in Wakiso
district, Uganda. USD 1500$ is needed to renovate some of its broken down facilities,
and also contribute towards building modern toilets, mainly to accommodate visiting
youths.
Visitors are welcomed
to the church premises by a black metallic billboard, with white inscriptions,
prominently announcing the church name, community play grounds, and the rules
and regulations governing the church premises.
The church is housed by a cream painted building, supported by protruding pillars, with brown linings of paint. It has a big black door, and dark windows. The photographs below show the outside of the church building, and the inside of it, with worshipers in one of the regular fellowships, held every Wednesday evening, listening to Pastor Kwizera Emmanuel, one of the preachers at Rezlife Church.
I can testify that this is a place of miracles. I receive God’s favor, and experience His glory every time I interact with Him here. I find peace and solace, meaning in otherwise incomprehensible things, and sense of direction where there is seemingly none, whenever I visit, and worship God at this magnificent cross. I sit at the steps of the volleyball court, opposite the cross, and silently convey my thanks, praises, concerns, frustrations, etc., to Jesus. And He answers me positively. He has never abandoned me, even if sometimes there is delay. That’s why I am so confident of receiving good answers to some of my still unanswered prayers.
Unfortunately, I see the paint on this gigantic cross disappear gradually, and its stand peel off slowly, but surely; and as you can see from the photographs above, the inscriptions of scripture are also hardly visible. Very soon they will be no more – and who knows, the cross as well!
Therefore, I make this public appeal, calling upon all lovers of God, and the gospel of Christ, to intervene by contributing money to renovate the facilities of this wonderful community church. Plus, as you can see from the photographs here, the community play grounds receive very many youths and teenagers, which makes hygiene critical. The number skyrockets during holidays, when pupils and students are not in school. So, the management of the church is fundraising money to build modern toilets for these hordes of young people, and other visitors.
